By means of <getdcdata> the dive computer is instructed to send data to the calling software. If there are no further elements inside the <getdcdata> section, all data — of all stored dives — are transfered.
It is also possible to select specific data inside <getdcdata>. For this the following elements are used:
<getdcalldata/> — request for all data stored on the dive computer
<getdcgeneratordata/> — request for the manufacturer's data (see also <generator>)
<getdcownerdata/> — request for the owner's data (<owner>) (see also <diver>)
<getdcbuddydata/> — request for all dive buddy data (<buddy>) (see also <diver>)
<getdcgasdefinitionsdata/> — request for all stored breathing gas data (see also <gasdefinitions>)
<getdcdivesitedata/> — request for descriptions of dive spots (see also <divesite>)
lt;getdcdivetripdata/> — request for descriptions of dive trips (see also <divetrip>)
<getdcprofiledata/> — request for dive profile data (see also <profiledata>)
