Inside <text> normal text is given (formatted via the child elements). In case of previously given audio, image, and/or video files cross-references may be made via the corresponding child elements to incorporate them inside the text.

For future releases of UDDF it is planned to support also more sophisticated output via DocBook, (La)Tex, OpenOffice etc. to further enhance logbook capabilities.
